PAUL G. MATHENIA, PhD.

My passion is to proclaim the truth of God’s Word to the end that God will be glorified and that souls will be transformed by the Holy Spirit through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  

Pastoral Experience:

It has been my privilege since 1973 to serve as senior pastor in ten of the Lord’s churches in Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Maryland. I also served as executive pastor in Arkansas, and now I am leading Beechmont Baptist Church in Louisville, KY as the senior pastor/teacher.

Education:

My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY with a major in Bible.  I was awarded a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN.  And then, I earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) degree from Omega (formerly Oxford) Graduate School, American Centre for Religion/Society Studies, in Dayton, TN.
